The Travellers' Tales
In early 1970s significant cultural shifts emerged. It was a time of change. There was a dramatic revolution in music, fashion, family life and social attitudes. A generation of young people wanted to move away from traditional family ties. They wished to find a freedom in relationships, to travel and explore the world to find different religions, languages and cultures. The dominance of drugs and sexual morals were easily accepted. Country borders opened. The overland route to India and the Far East became a pilgrimage for those seeking freedom and change.
